عطلة: هي أوقات الفراغ التي يتم قضاؤها بعيداً عن المنزل أو في السفر.

موسم العطلة: هي المدة التي تجري فيها الإحتفالات السنوية.

Skiing: the action of travelling over snow on skis. It's a kind of sports.

Restaurant: a place where people pay to sit and eat meals.

المطعم: هو مكان يدفع فيه الناس للجلوس و تناول وجبات الطعام.

Festival: a day or period of celebration.

مهرجان: يوم أو مدة مخصصة لإحتفال معين.

Relaxing: reducing tension and anxiety.

مريح: كل ما يخفف الضغط و التوتر.

Trip: a journey in which you go somewhere, usually for a short time, and come back again.

نزهة: الإرتحال إلى مكان ما، عادةً ما تكون لوقت قصير، و من ثم العودة مجدداً (من حيث تم الذهاب).

Destination: the place to which someone is going.

الوجهة: هي المكان الذي يتجه إليه الشخص.

Well-rounded plan: a well planned or balanced plan.

خطة محكمة: خطة منظمة و متوازنة.

أحمد: هذا يبدو ممتعاً جداً، ولكنّ لماذا لا نختار شيئاً مريحاً أكثر، ماذا عن عطلة على الشاطئ؟

I like the idea of a beach vacation, but what if we compromise? We could find a destination that offers both mountains and the beach.

سمر: أحببت فكرة الشاطئ، لكن لم لا نجد حلاً وسطاً، كإيجاد مكان يجمع بين خدمات الشاطئ والجبل؟

Mohammad
That's an interesting idea! Any suggestions for such a place?

محمد: إنّها فكرة مثيرة للإهتمام! اهناك إقتراحات لمكان كهذا؟

Sarah
I've heard there are places where you can ski in the morning and be on the beach by the afternoon. That could be perfect!

سارة: سمعتُ أنّ هناك أمكنة حيث يمكن التّزلج في الصّباح والذهاب للشاطئ ظهراً.سيكون ذلك ممتازاً.

Ahmad
And during the evenings, we could explore local restaurants and try different cuisines.

أحمد: وفي المساء يمكننا استكشاف بعض المطاعم المحلية لتجربة مختلف الأطباق.

Samar
Speaking of food, how about we have a family cooking competition one evening? We each cook a dish from a different country.

سمر: بالحديث عن الطّعام ، لم لا نجري مسابقة طبخ عائلية عند المساء ؟ كلٌ منا يطهو طبقاً من بلد معين.

Mohammad
I love that idea! It will be like a mini international food festival.

محمد: أحببت تلك الفكرة! سيكون أشبه بمهرجان عالمي للأطعم.

Count me in! I've always wanted to try my hand at making Thai cuisine.

سارة: سأشارك! لطالما أردتُ إختبار مهارتي بطهو الطّعام التّايلاندي.

I'll go for Italian! I make a delicious lasagna.

أحمد: سأطهو بعض اللازانيا الإيطاليّة اللذيذة.
